AerialSphere to Present at Esri Southwest Summit

The summit, held on Tuesday, November 15 in Phoenix, Arizona, will be a gathering of the regional GIS community. AerialSphere’s presentation will highlight applications and advancements in the field of Oriented Imagery.

Oriented Imagery is an Esri term for any imagery that is not nadir, or pointed directly at the ground. This can include 360-degree images, video, images captured from the ground, oblique, and panoramic images. 

AerialSphere provides GIS professionals with access to 360-degree aerial images through Oriented Imagery Catalogs (OICs). With existing coverage over most major metropolitan areas in the US, many users won’t have to wait to start using the imagery and custom flights are available for special areas of interest. 

In addition to imagery, AerialSphere also offers a unique Multi-OIC Viewer widget which allows for multiple catalogs to function within a single app. With this integration, GIS professionals, infrastructure managers, engineers, and utility companies can organize, compare and aggregate all their imagery in a single web app. The widget is available now for both Experience Builder and Web App Builder.
